  1. Loved hearing your voice! 🙂

  2. Ha-we’re switching dentists and our old dentist office just phoned. I’m pretty sure they got my records request for the transfer today. I didn’t pick up. Is that bad?

It was fun to hear your voice.

  3. What a fun feature!

  4. How fun! Loved “hearing” from you today. You have such a sweet mama voice. I’m envious. My mom always told me I talk too loud, too fast, and to brash. I hope that’s not true… but I don’t like hearing myself at all. Basically, I think I just sound like a Georgia bumpkin who wandered into Arizona by mistake. Everyone I speak to (lately that would be the pharmacist, the dermatologist, a few folks at church, and the grocery store clerk) says either, “Are you from Texas?” or “Are you from Georgia?” It drives me crazy that they all know this information – I’ve spent large portions of my life in both – without me even telling them. My voice just speaks for itself!

I have no idea why I told you all that…

  5. OH. That so rocks. This would be perfect for when I have a thought in my head but not the time to develop it in a grammatically correct manner.
Hmm. Wonder if blogger has this?

  6. LOVE it! And I went to the grocery store too…and now I get to clean up my office. (But I won’t tell that it is because we had an avalanche to signal that this office-cleaning was WAY overdue!) Maybe I’ll give this audio-post thing a try once the baby comes…it seems that anything to help keep me connected with fewer hands needed might be a great opportunity! 🙂

  7. I’m baking a birthday cake today… want to come over after your dentist appointment and celebrate? 😀

  8. Thanks, CPQ. This made me smile. If it makes you feel any better, your day is a little more exciting than mine.

  9. lol, lots of fun.
sounds great, even internationally btw. i enjoy hearing the accent 🙂
love hearing about your “normal” life.
good luck w/ the dentist, xx

  10. Fun to hear your voice CPQ. You sound way too nice to be a Duke fan. 🙂

  11. My, my, aren’t we technically savvy today!

I’m glad I get to hear that sweet voice on a regular basis.

  12. And if I might add my own comment:

    1. I repeated myself several times. This is normal. Do not be alarmed.

    2. I drop more letters at the end of my words than should be allowed.

    3. I thought my voice was deeper than that.

    4. That was wickedly fun to do and the next time I’m trapped in my car, I’ll just phone my blog.

Something tells me y’all will be more helpful than OnStar.

  13. Oh, and that “Ta-daa!” is, sadly, also part of my regular vocabulary.

It’s my way of helping the kids feel like their mac and cheese is a lot more special than it is.

  14. Well that was fun! And look at the time it saved by sayin’ it instead of typin’ it!!

    Love it!

  15. well, that was fun!! you should put a picture of yourself up with the phone in your ear so I don’t just watch that little strip ticking away the seconds! Wouldn’t it be fun if we could voice comment!! I use way to many exclamation points.

  16. I love it when people do audio or video posts! It’s my chance to ‘meet’ them.

  17. Love your voice!
I always think that is how I sound until I actually hear myself on the answering machine or a video and then I hate my voice because I think I sound nasal(ly). Can you come over and record a greeting on my answering machine? I have neglected to do that for ummm six years because I hate my voice.

  18. I don’t like listening to my voice. I sound like a 13 year old with an unnatural affection for helium-sucking.

Hence why I’m often asked if my mother is home when on the phone.
Cuts down on chatting with the telemarketers.

  19. Your voice sounds pretty much the same as in person, though slightly different. I always think mine sounds lower than other hear it, too. When I hear my voice (like on my message), I don’t think it sounds like me at all! Hope the dentist visit went well!

  20. Love it!! It made me smile in the midst of my already lousy morning… as evidenced by watching Kevin Federline on tv. Ooh, you should do those pre-recorded positive encouraging messages! Ooh, ooh! For KLove!! Get it? Positive encouraging?? I’m cracking myself up 🙂

  21. You sound great to me! But you always do (to me). Looking forward to hearing how the dentist visit went…How would you know, doesn’t he give you something to make you smile…or laugh?

  22. LOVE it. Such a treat.

Now I can read your blog in your voice and not my, high-pitched “Hey, Sweetie, Is your mom home?” voice!

  23. So fun! I may have to try that soon!

You sound so much more southern today…

  24. That was so awesome!!! 🙂

  25. I don’t know why in the world I can’t open the audio file! Any ideas?

  26. you are too much!! I loved this..I can vouch for Amb sounding like teen..cracks me up!

I am CAWNTRY when I record myself!

  27. What Amber said. LOL. I never thought of using it for telemarketer benefit!

Loved hearing your voice! Funny, though, not how I expected you to sound.

  28. How long have you lived in North Carolina?

    Lord. Love. A. Duck.
